Tortillia-Wraps "What you want/have"
Wraps are really such a simple camping food and everyone can make them themselves what they like to eat.
You can make the wraps yourself with a simple dough and bake them in a pan. Or just buy ready-made in the supermarket.
Tortillia-Teig Zutaten:
375 g wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
60 ml vegetable oil
160ml warm water
Preparation:
Put the flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Now add the oil and water and mix with a fork until the dough clumps together. Then transfer the dough to a work surface and knead with your hands for about 2-3 minutes until smooth and pliable. Form the dough into a ball, cover with a tea towel and let rest for 15 minutes.
Now cut the dough ball into 8 equal pieces, depending on how big you want the tortillas to be.
Dust each piece of dough with a little flour, shape into a ball and flatten with the palm of your hand. Roll out thinly thereafter with a rolling pin or bottle.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and brush with a little oil. Fry the patties for about 30- 45 seconds per side or until brown.
Either serve the tortillas warm immediately or let them cool for later.
To prevent the tortillas from getting hard after baking in the pan, I recommend you wrap them in a slightly damp cloth.
